Who we are

This website is run by Harwood Consulting Group Pty Ltd (ABN 77 680 486 873, ACN 680 486 873), an Australian company. In this policy, “Harwood”, “we” and “us” mean that company.

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us.

• Enquiry form: your name, organisation, email address, phone number (optional), the topic and your message.
• Projara interest form: your email address, and a record that you agreed to receive emails about Projara, including the date and time. This form is provided by Hostinger Reach and is shown inside our page.
• Email: anything you send to Enquiry@harwoodgroup.com, including your email address and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site secure and working. This website does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this policy.

The Projara form is loaded from Hostinger Reach. Reach counts how many times the form is viewed and submitted. To avoid counting the same view twice, it saves a short timestamp in your browser’s local storage. It does not use this to identify you. Cloudflare checks submissions of that form to block spam, and may use technical details such as your IP address and browser type for that purpose.

When you send the enquiry form, our form handler also keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address in a temporary file on our web server. It is used only to limit repeat submissions and spam.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss work with you.
• To email you a summary of Projara, and updates as it gets closer to launch, if you signed up and agreed to receive them.
• To run our business, keep records and meet legal obligations.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them. We keep a record of when you signed up, so we can show that you agreed. Each email will say it is from Harwood Consulting Group and how to contact us.

When you sign up for Projara updates, we first send you an email asking you to confirm your address. We only add you to the list once you click the link in that email. If you do not click it, you will not receive our updates.

Every marketing email will include a simple way to unsubscribe, and we will act on unsubscribe requests within five business days. You can also reply to any Projara email, or email Enquiry@harwoodgroup.com, at any time and ask to be removed.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for other companies’ marketing.

Enquiry form submissions are sent as email to our business mailbox. Our website is hosted by Hostinger and our email is provided by Microsoft 365, so your information is stored and processed on their systems. Their servers may be outside Australia. If you sign up for Projara updates, your email address goes into Hostinger Reach, the email tool we use to send them. Hostinger Reach is run by Hostinger, so that information is also stored on their systems. Cloudflare provides spam protection on that form. We may also use other service providers to run our business. They may only use your information to provide the service to us.

We may also disclose personal information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for our business records. We keep Projara sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not include sensitive or confidential details in the website forms.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Email Enquiry@harwoodgroup.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Links to other sites

This website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
